The First Week
Don’t roll your windows down for the first few days. Don’t clean on the inside for a few days either. A little water between the tint and the glass is normal – it will evaporate. This is the expertise we bring to the table. You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.
Our Process
We want to make tinting your windows quick, easy and painless. Our entire process takes roughly an hour to complete. We start with selecting the right tint for you. There are many factors that go into selecting the right tint. How dark do you want it? What are the legal limits for your state? Those are just a couple questions we must figure out right off the bat. After that’s decided, we have to decide what type of film to use.
Once the film is chosen, it’s time for it to be applied. We pull your car into our shop and use a CAD system to measure and cut all film patterns so that the glass on your car goes undamaged. Then we clean the glass, mold the film to fit the glass on your car, apply the film and then you’re ready to go! Our last step in the process is discussing how to take care of it and what to expect that first week of driving around with your new tint.
Films We Use
When it comes to the films we use, we are sticklers for quality. We exclusively use Llumar films for our automotive tinting. The Llumar films that we offer are LLumar ATC, Llumar ATR, Llumar CTX and Llumar AIR 80.
We don’t offer a variety of films because we’ve found those listed above to the best. It’s common amongst window tinting shops to offer a wide variety of films to shuffle cheaper films into the mix. This is something that we at Jay’s Tint & Vinyl have committed not to do. We want quality to be synonymous with our name. This is why we stick with Llumar.
